Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH),Ogbomoso has put up a center with erudite scholars and researchers to work on preventive measures to control the spread of corona virus which have been reported throughout the World that has killed thousands of people.
Speaking at the 12th induction ceremony of the newly qualified Medical Laboratory Scientists held at the College of Health Sciences,LAUTECH, Osogbo, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Michael Oluﬁsayo Ologunde, described Corona
virus as the pneumonia of unknown cause,
detected in Wuhan, China.
He explained that LAUTECH was compelled
to raise a team of researchers and scholars to ﬁnd means to curb the spread of the
virus that has invaded over one hundred
and twenty countries of the world, including Nigeria.
He promised that LAUTECH will not relent
in training medical personnel who will in
turn impact positively on the health system of the nation and the world at large, adding that graduates from the College of Health Sciences are doing great exploits within and outside the shore of the country, as evident by the cheering news and feedback received all over the world from employers of our products.

has proven to be committed to raising the
banner in the nation’s health sector.
